Mat Fraser - The Unbeatable Champ?
When Mat Fraser first won the Crossfit Games in 2016 he set a precedent for the years to come. Now the 2018 season has passed and Mat once again crushed it at the games taking his 3rd win. And now many are looking at this years 2019 season to see if he will tie Rich Froning for the number of wins at the CrossFit Games.
So far Mat has shown no sign of slowing down since his win in Madison last year, taking out the Dubai CrossFit champs in another dominant performance with over a 100 point lead on second place BK G and earning himself a ticket to Madison once again.
The top 3 males from Dubai:
Mat Fraser - 935 points
BK GUdmundsson - 823 points

"@MathewFras has been periodically dogged by the “Froning versus Fraser” debate for years now, doing everything he can to play it down, and if he ties Froning, he gives himself the chance to beat him and silence all the critics in 2020." — Patrick Blennerhassett, Opinion in the South China Morning Press (@scmpnews) • #CrossFitGames
Honestly, the team at Seventh Sin all have their money on Mat to clinch it once again. He has proven time and time again that he has few weaknesses and those he does have he works on until they become his strengths.
The worrying thing for his Canadian rivals Pat Vellner and Brent Fikowski is that Mat now has all the time in the world to iron out the kins to his game plan. Who's to say no to a 4th game's title?
